Privacy Policy

Effective October 14, 2026 · Last updated October 14, 2026

SIG Shop Hub (the "Shop Hub") is the internal business system of Strand Industrial Group LLC, doing business as SIG Design Build ("SIG", "we", "us"). This policy explains what information the Shop Hub handles, why, who else processes it, how long it is kept, and how to make a request about it. The Shop Hub is used only by SIG staff and is not offered to the public.

Who uses the Shop Hub

Only SIG employees and authorized contractors with an account issued by SIG can sign in, using their SIG work account. Each person can see only the information their role requires.

Information we handle

How we use it

Information is used only to run SIG's business: preparing estimates and proposals, managing projects, billing, recording payments, keeping accounting records accurate, scheduling work, and communicating with clients, vendors and staff. We do not sell personal information, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not use it to train artificial intelligence models.

Microsoft 365

Staff sign in with their SIG Microsoft 365 work account; personal Microsoft accounts and accounts outside SIG cannot connect. When a staff member connects their own mailbox, the Shop Hub can, for that person only:

Email attachments are read only when they are saved to a project. The Shop Hub does not access shared mailboxes. Each person can disconnect their mailbox at any time.

QuickBooks Online

The Shop Hub connects only to SIG's own QuickBooks Online company, through Intuit's authorized connection, solely to keep SIG's customers, invoices and payments in sync. Data obtained through Intuit's API is not sold, pooled with other companies' data, shared with data brokers, or used to train artificial intelligence models.

When QuickBooks is disconnected, the Shop Hub stops reading and writing QuickBooks data and deletes its QuickBooks access credentials from our servers. Invoices, payments and customer records already in the Shop Hub remain part of SIG's business records and are kept as described under "How long we keep information".

Service providers and their roles

Each provider handles data under its own terms and privacy policy. These providers may process data in the United States and in other countries where they operate.

Security

Every user must sign in, and access is limited by role in the database itself, not only on screen. Connection credentials for QuickBooks, Microsoft and the AI service are held only on the server, never in the browser. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest by our hosting providers. Wages, payroll and HR files are restricted to owners and administrators.

If a security breach affects personal information, SIG will notify affected people and the authorities as required by Washington law and other applicable law.

How long we keep information

Project, accounting, payroll and tax records are kept for as long as SIG needs them to run its business and meet legal requirements, including Washington tax, wage-and-hour, prevailing wage, contractor and construction lien record rules. When records are no longer needed, they are deleted. Backup copies are replaced on a rolling schedule, so deleted information leaves the backups within about 30 days. Copies of files sent to the AI service are kept by that service only as its retention policy allows.

Requests about your information

Clients, vendors and contacts can ask what information we hold about them, or ask us to correct or delete it, using the contact details below.

Employees and contractors can view much of their own information in the Shop Hub. To request access to, or correction of, other records about you, contact the owner or office manager, or use the contact details below.

We respond within a reasonable time. Some records cannot be changed or deleted because SIG is required to keep them, including tax, payroll, safety, lien and contract records, and some requests may be limited to protect other people's information.

Children

The Shop Hub is a business system for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, we update the date at the top. For material changes, we notify staff through the Shop Hub or by email before the change takes effect.
